Hi Paul
Us lads just wanted to say a big thankyou to you and Ing for the brilliant time we had in your fabulous villa. We had the time of our lives and cant stop talking about it. Each day just got better and better. Please give a big thankyou to the maids as they made our lives so much easier and they were a great laugh. Weve been to many countries and stopped in many 5 star hotels and we can tell you that your villas and the service you provide exceed anything we have ever experienced. We have already made plans to come back next year and cant wait to see you all again. Thanks for your part in the prank we played on our mate, it was the best acting weve ever seen, have you considered a career in acting??. Thanks again.
See you soon from Ajay, Mick, Harj and Snappy

Visakha Buddha Bucha Festival 2009
|
Date: 18th - 19th April 2008
Venue: Sanam Suea Pa, Dusit District, Bangkok
|
The holiest day of the Buddhist calendar, Visakha Puja marks the birth, enlightenment and death of Buddha on the day of the full moon in May. Thai Buddhists celebrate in style.
Throughout the country people crowd the temples to hear sermons by important monks, offer donations and prayers and participate in picturesque, candelit evening processions. To attain a good rebirth, Thais believe that they must build up positive karma by doing good deeds. This auspicious day is a good opportunity for communal merit-making.

Perhaps the most scenic place to be is Bangkok's Wat Benjamabophit (Sri Ayutthaya Rd) for an evening candlelit procession. Also known as The Marble Temple for its Carrara marble walls and Victorian style, Wat Benjamabophit contains the ashes of King Rama V and his collection of Buddha representations from around Asia. Arrive early in the morning to see saffron-robed monks collecting alms from local people. Just ten minutes walk away is King Rama V's beautiful teak palace, Vimanmek, which is worth a visit at any time.
